SYKE Society's story begins with the relentless pursuit for a safe, natural and legal alternative for mushroom products. Many of our customers find satisfaction in avoiding the man-made synthetic substitutions and high risk illicit substances that have been seen on shelves around the country. 

WHY ITS IMPORTANT 

Globally, the demand and interest for alternative experiences induced by the natural offerings of earth has driven producers to find more "creative" ways to satisfy those increasing appetites. Unfortunately, the outcome of this has effectively manufactured products with some man-made substances and compounds that have harmful effects to humans. Although some of those substances are clearly identified as not being approved for human consumption they have laced the shelves of many shops and corner stores and offer little assurance as to what or how they might affect the user in the long or short term.  As you explore the shelves realize that your body and mind would serve as the subject for the experiment in how these novel compounds are metabolized and how  they might affect the brain and body afterwards. Commonly used and rarely regulated these synthetic  compounds are substituted for mushroom ingredients by various companies hoping to ride the trip wave to profits.

Wanting to make a quick buck but lacking the consideration for the impact of potentially negative or harmful side effects the products might have is the gamble some are willing to make. Some of those man-made compounds turning up in so called "mushroom" chocolate bars have never before been ingested by any person or living thing until recent years. HOW SYKE SOCIETY ADDRESSES THE NEED FOR NATURAL, LEGAL, AND EFFECTIVE MUSHROOM PRODUCTS

SYKE Society came together as a partnership between a few hardworking individuals with a common goal. We were looking to deliver something natural, tried and trued as well as safe to offer to people who were looking for natural alternative experiences. At last the determination of very obsessive mycologists along with talented chocolatiers and chefs has led to a line of products worth sharing with the world. What the team of mycologists found is a compound different from the synthetic concoctions mentioned earlier. Instead, it is naturally organic and found in an ancient species of the magic mushroom. This gift from Mother Nature is unscheduled by the FEDERAL Government and is delivered in extract form for our product formulation. Both safe and legal while producing the desired affects. 

Our master candymakers skillfully blend this delicate mushroom extract into their most tasty creations and from there SYKE SOCIETY got it's start. The positive impact these tasty confections have made on the lives of so many is a reminder that the answers we seek in response to the call  aren't necessarily supposed to be found in a man-made creation, or pill, or bottle but from the ancient wisdom of the Earth’s own neural network of mycelium. The magic mushroom has many "entourage effect" compounds that we are beginning to understand the importance of. Psilocybin and Psilocin are identified as the two main compounds associated with the desired affects of magic mushroom consumption.  However, due to the illegal status and harsh sentencing outcomes, taking these compounds holds an inherent legal risk to the user. We look forward to the end of prohibition that is hopefully right around the corner, but in the meantime, we know that the natural substances which are criminalized throughout the US and abroad are not a viable option for people who do not desire to cross legal boundaries yet seek the positive effects of those natural foods.

SYKE Society products DO NOT contain Psilocybin or Psilocin. We do NOT use Amanita Muscaria (Fly Agaric) mushrooms which produce sedative effects and are currently the most prevalent ingredient used in most mushroom goods aside from the man-made experimental compounds mentioned earlier. We are partnered with a DEA Certified testing facility that tests each batch of the mushroom extract we use in our edible products.

Again, we do not use any synthetic chemicals, novel compounds, cannabinoids, or the poisonous amanita mushroom variety in our products.

WHAT WE DO PUT IN OUR EDIBLES

All natural ingredients are selected for our edibles and the  mushroom compound within the active ingredient extract is as well. The affects of the active ingredient are overwhelmingly positive. Users report strong uplifting bodily sensations, positive mood enhancement as well as desirable changes in perception and perspective. Unlike traditional magic mushroom trips, overwhelming feelings or overly intensive existential crises are kept at bay. Strong hallucinations are not the target use and are not the focus outcome facilitated by the compound in our extract.
